Organic School Project

I don’t remember thinking about where my food came from until high school, and that knowledge had a huge impact on my diet. I certainly didn’t learn specifically about where my school’s food was coming from–just the industrial processes behind most of what I was eating. And on top of that, I never once actually heard about it in a classroom setting. Organic School Project seeks to change that, and a lot more.

We recently received an email from a group of people putting together some cool projects in Chicago schools. What they seek to introduce to students is information that most of us had to seek out on our own, even though it was something that affected us every single day. Looking back on it, I wish I could have had access to that information at a much younger age.
